Empowering Educators. Transforming Classrooms.
Teaching Teachers™ LLC is a professional learning firm and strategic school partner committed to developing teachers who stay in the classroom, lead with purpose, and build the kind of instructional culture that transforms outcomes for students and communities. We work directly with teachers, schools, and districts across Michigan and Texas to address teacher attrition, strengthen instructional practice, and build community-centered school cultures. We know what it feels like to stand in front of a classroom, navigate a complex school system, and search for professional development that actually meets you where you are, because we have been there. Our mission is simple: to ensure that every teacher feels seen, supported, and equipped to do the most important work in the world. We offer dynamic professional learning experiences that go beyond the workshop and into the real, everyday challenges teachers and school leaders face. Whether you are a first-year teacher finding your footing or a principal building a stronger instructional culture across your campus, Teaching Teachers LLC is your partner in making great teaching the standard — not the exception!

Teaching is not just a job — it is a practice rooted in history, identity, and purpose. In the first two weeks of our series, educators will take a deep dive into the history of American schooling, examining how educational systems were built, who they were built for, and what that means for the teachers working within them today. Through critical reflection and guided dialogue, participants will develop a stronger, more grounded sense of their own teacher identity — understanding not just what they teach, but why they teach and how their presence in the classroom matters. This is the foundation every educator needs before they can truly lead.

Great teaching doesn't happen by accident — it happens by design. In weeks three and four, educators will learn how to break down state standards into clear, actionable learning goals and translate them into lesson plans that are both rigorous and accessible. But planning doesn't stop at delivery. Participants will also explore how to collect and use classroom data to inform their instruction, adjust in real time, and ensure every student is moving forward. Whether you are a first-year teacher trying to figure out where to start or a veteran educator looking to sharpen your practice, this module will leave you confident, organized, and ready to teach with intention.

A well-planned lesson means nothing if students are not engaged — and discipline without relationship is just control. In the final two weeks of the series, educators will explore research-backed engagement strategies designed to capture student attention, build genuine participation, and create a classroom culture where learning thrives. Participants will also be introduced to restorative practices as a framework for addressing conflict, building community, and moving away from punitive discipline models that disproportionately harm students of color. You will leave with practical tools you can implement from day one — and a vision for the kind of classroom community you actually want to build.
Teaching Teachers™ LLC is proud to partner with Teach Plus Michigan and Boldly Moving Education Ahead (BMEA), as approved Michigan Department of Education SCECH sponsors, to offer State Continuing Education Clock Hours to Michigan teacher participants.
